Duck Build is an adorable little game in which you and up to three other players grab debris washed up on the shore and hastily stick it together to form a raft before a flood comes.
In Duck Build players must race to assemble their rafts as fast as possible so that your cute little ducks don’t drown when the flood comes. You can search the black for good raft building materials, grab them with the shift button and fix them together with the ‘E’ button. It’s worth taking a little time to search the beach at the start of the game though as the tide will start coming in after you join your first two pieces together.
Duck Build was created in just two days for the Global Game Jam 2017 so it does have a few rough edges and the gameplay is fairly simple, but the visuals are adorable and the raft building is great fun, especially with a few other players to help (or hinder) your progress! Quite why a duck would need a raft is beyond us, but it’s great fun building one anyway!
