2000 Navidson Lane is a fun little first person found footage horror game that takes a dark twist as you’re paid to check on an empty home for any damage.
Created for the DreadXP Found Footage game jam, in 2000 Navidson Lane you need to make a little extra money to pay your rent so have accepted a quick job that should net you forty bucks. The job in question is just to check out a nearby investment home that’s been empty for some time. The owner is most worried about water damage, but you should check out anything else untoward too. When you get there you find the TV on and dishes in the sink. Maybe the place isn’t as empty as the owner thought…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, 2000 Navidson Lane is a great little horror game with a very eerie atmosphere and some clever twists. There are some great little touches (particularly towards the end) and the way it tells its story is very inventive. This’ll be the hardest 40 bucks you’ve ever earned!
