3ternity is a stylish, bizarre and unsettling little experience that allows you to experience what it’s like to live in a digital afterlife… forever.
You are dead. You’ve shuffled off this mortal coil and your physical existence is gone forever. Thankfully though you invested in 3ternity’s cybernetic afterlife package, which allows you to live on in a digital form for the rest of eternity, where each individual is allocated a whopping 4BG of Ram. Sounds good right?
There are a few minor drawbacks to the afterlife package you purchased, most notably that you can’t interact or communicate in any way. But hey, you can’t have it all! Should have forked out for the deluxe package if you wanted fancy extras like that!
Taking just over five minutes to play through, 3ternity is an odd little experience that gets more unsettling as the reality of your situation sets in. It’s hard to classify it as a “game” as there’s very little in the way of interaction (which is kind of the point), but the simple wobbly 3D visuals look fantastic and the narrative is very interesting. Have you purchased yourself your own slice of cyber-heaven or an eternity in digital hell?
