_________ (What Even Is That Thing?) is a fantastic little experimental puzzler where you spam the keyboard to spew letters out on the screen, allowing you to figure out what the various objects are that are hidden on each screen.
You start each level of _________ (What Even Is That Thing?) with a blank screen, a cryptic clue in the top left corner and a little floating pencil with eyeballs in the center. Whenever you press a key on your keyboard, the corresponding letter is fired out of the pencil. You need to spam the keyboard to make letters fill the screen, allowing you to figure out what objects are hidden on the screen in the process.
Once you think you know what the object is then you simply type out the answer. If your answer is in the right ballpark, but not 100% correct then the letters will glow gold and if you manage to get it right then the screen will fill in with a humorous sketched drawing of the object and you’ll be able to move on to the next one.
It’s a very clever little puzzle game with a great sense of humor, fun physics based letter flinging and lots of creative puzzles. What even is that thing? It’s an excellent little puzzler! Highly recommended.
Note: Being unable to access level 18 after completing level 17 isn’t a bug- it’s a puzzle!
