A Long Walk Home is a tense and atmospheric PS1 styled horror game where something lurks in the darkness as you walk home from the bus stop.
In A Long Walk Home you find yourself on a lonesome country road after being dropped off by a bus. It’s quite a long trek back to your house and along the way there are plenty of signs that all is not well in the game’s rural setting. Nobody is around, there’s an eerie stillness in the air and dead farm animals rot in the fields…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, A Long Walk Home is an intense little experience that does a great job of making you feel alone and vulnerable as you walk through the pestilence-ridden countryside. It is a fairly linear walking simulator style experience, but the dread-filled atmosphere is excellent and makes you wish you could run home rather than walk!
