A Million Faces Of War – Downloadable Game

a million faces of war

A Million Faces of War is an impacting look at the atrocities of war and how they affect people from all walks of life – from a gun shop owner to a child soldier in a guerrilla training camp.

Featuring multiple storylines, occasionally interlinking in a Steven Soderbergh-esque way,  A Million Faces of War doesn’t pull its punches when showing the affect war can have on peoples lives.  You interact with the story by making pivotal decisions in the lives of people from all walks of life – journalists, soldiers, housewives, ramblers and refugees.  The decisions you make are tough, and can mean the difference between life or death.  There are no right and wrong answers, just hard decisions and people trying to survive.

With the game lasting around five minutes, A Million Faces of War certainly warrants multiple playthoughs, as you discover how these peoples lives could of played out under different circumstances.  The simplistic South Park-esque visual style belies a deep and emotional gaming experience.

There are very few happy endings to the stories found in A Million Faces of War, the most you can really hope for is to pick up the pieces and move on. It’s a powerful experience, with strong subject matter in a game where choices really matter.
