A Quiet Little Town is a short and shocking little retro MS-DOS styled horror game where you attempt to help out the citizens of a small town.
Created for Scream Jam 2021, in A Quiet Little Town you take on the role of a visitor to a friendly looking town where there are various citizens you need a helping hand. The jobs they need done are fairly simple, such as throwing a bucket down a well or digging holes for crops, but the more you help out, the more you get a feeling that something is very wrong.
It’s a very short, but delightfully dark and twisted narrative lurking below its charming retro visuals. It’s definitely worth taking five minutes out to help out some friends.
