Allan’s White Page is a terrifying Spanish first person horror adventure that follows a famous novelist who becomes so obsessed with the paranormal that he becomes unable to distinguish between reality and fiction.
In Allan’s White Page you step into the shoes of a novelist called Allan, who has become so obsessed with the paranormal research he does for his books that he can no longer separate what is real and what is not. The paranormal activities of his books have now started seeping into his view of reality, which causes things to get extremely weird. You must now try and escape from your house and hopefully leave its terrors behind you.
The writing and dialogue in Allan’s White Page is all in Spanish, but thankfully there’s very little of it (a snippet of text at the start and a short message on a radio), so you won’t miss much if you don’t speak Spanish. It’s certainly worth checking out as it’s a very well designed horror experience which really ramps up the terror as you play with some fantastic audio and environment design. Highly recommended.
Note: The text at the beginning of the game translates to “I don’t write about dreams or nightmares. I tell my own reality. What is the reality?”
