Alucard is a stylish puzzle platforming adventure in which you control a half-vampire who must simultaneously travel through the real world and the mirrored world to save his sister’s soul.
In Alucard you control a half-vampire half-human who can switch between human and vampire form at the touch of a button. When in human form your body is shown in the real world and the reflected one, but if you turn into a vampire then your body is only shown in the real world (vampires don’t have reflections). The real world and the reflected world are often very different looking and are filled with different obstacles to navigate, so you need to switch between vampire and human form at the right times to help you progress.
Taking around 10 minutes to complete, Alucard is a simple, but stylish little adventure with a great narrative and a clever mirror-based puzzle mechanic. A quirky little vampiric puzzle platforming adventure well worth checking out.
