Andromeda Delivery Service is a crazy little fusion of Kerbal Space Program and QWOP, where you build a spaceship and pilot it using thrusters assigned to different keys.
Created for Ludum Dare 53, Andromeda Delivery Service is a soft-body physics space exploration game where you build spaceships and explore procedurally generated planets. It sees you flying around in search of building blocks and taking them back to your base to allow you build bigger ships.
There are four different types of blocks that you can use to build your ship – Structural, Engines, Fuel Tanks and Gravity Hooks. Structural blocks are just structural, Engines propel your ship when you press the corresponding W,A,S or D buttons, Fuel Tanks allow you to hold more fuel and Gravity Hooks are used to grab blocks you find on your travels.
It’s a simple, but addictive and entertaining little game with a nice loop of exploration and upgrading. The jelly physics are very enjoyable and building the ships is very straight-forward, but piloting them may be another matter altogether!
Controls: WASD – Movement, Spacebar – Grab Block, Mouse – Build Ship
