Banshees: The Game is a charming little mash-up of The Banshees of Inisherin and Pac-Man, which sees Colm attempting to collect his fingers and get to the pub in peace.
In Banshees: The Game you take control of Colm (Brendan Gleeson) and attempt to avoid Padraic (Colin Farrell) while you collect your five severed fingers and go to the pub. The gameplay is very much similar to Pac-Man, but with Padraic (humorously just called Colin in the game) being a little more relentless with his chasing, and no power-pills to fend him off with. Things start off fairly easy, with you only having to avoid Padraic, but more characters are added as you progress through the levels – even Jenny the donkey gets in on the action!
It’s a simple, but fun little game that’s guaranteed to raise a smile with anyone who’s watched The Banshees of Inisherin movie. The pixel art is excellent, it’s got some great little gags and it’s always a pleasure to see Jenny again!
