Bassdrop is a very fast paced and addictive .io style multiplayer blend of tank warfare and sumo wrestling as you attempt to collect points and knock other tanks out of the arena.
Bassdrop is a tank warfare game without health bars or projectiles. Instead you fire a powerful blast of air that knocks your opponent back and hopefully out of the arena. The gameplay is very fast paced, with your tank continually moving towards your mouse pointer and large sections of the arena that will start to disappear once you drive over them.
You get three lives to try and reach the top of the leaderboard, which is possible in just a few minutes if you try to avoid confrontation, collect the points that are scattered around the map and pick off the occasional tank at opportune moments. Getting into a 1v1 shoving match rarely works out for either combatant though.
It’s a fun game with fast and frantic browser based tank shoving action that’s easy to pick up and play but hard to put down. The fact that there are no upgrades is refreshing too as it means everyone is on a level playing field, so it’s all down to player skill over time played. An addictive little tank sumo game well worth dropping on.
