Blaster Cop is a wonderfully weird pixel art cyberpunk first person shooter that sees you playing a cyber cop who must infiltrate a criminal organisation that is selling illegal cyber stimulants.
In Blaster Cop you take on the role of a hardboiled cop who takes to the streets to discover who is behind the selling of stimulants that allow players to cheat in a popular ‘Youreality 3D’ virtual reality game. Pretty much everyone you meet prefers to try and fill you with lead than answer your questions so you’ll need to fight back with an assortment of increasingly badass weaponry that you find along the way.
Taking around 40 minutes to play through, Blaster Cop really impresses with its stylist pixel art visuals, bizarre plot twists, big boss battles and high powered weaponry. The rather robotic character voices do feel a little odd initially but once you get used to them they actually add to the delightfully weird experience. A crazy little retro cyberpunk run n’ gun shooter well worth checking out.
