BloodBoarderz is a fun little PS1 styled reverse horror snowboarding game where you slice up other snowboarders as you speed down the snowy slopes.
Drawing inspiration from the classic PS1 era Cool Boarders games, BloodBoarderz is a retro styled arcade snowboarding game where you slaughter other snowboarders to earn extra time. The controls are fairly simple – you can accelerate, brake, turn left or right, jump and swing your bloodstained machete. You start the game with just 60 seconds of time, but you earn an extra five seconds for each kill.
It’s a fairly short game with a single track that takes a few minutes to race down, but it’s satisfyingly challenging, has a nice variety of track sections and slicing up snowboarders is a lot of fun. It’s a great concept that would be perfect for expanding into something larger.
