Blow The Hen Down is a fast paced little first person action game that sees you attempting to clear your deck of a rapidly multiplying chicken population before they sink your ship!
In Blow The Hen Down you find yourself on an old pirate ship with the captain and a handful of chickens. However the chickens are multiplying at an alarming rate and if you don’t do something about it then they’ll overburden the ship and cause it to sink.
There are three main ways to dispatch the chickens – pick them up and throw them overboard, throw bombs at them or load them into cannons and launch them out to sea. The bombs are great for crowd control, but it’s also very satisfying blasting the chickens out of cannons. Whatever your chosen chicken disposal method, you’ll have to be fast – they multiply VERY quickly. It’s tricky, but if you focus on clearing one area at a time then it is actually possible to get rid of all of them.
Blow The Hen Down is quite a simple little game, with fairly shallow gameplay but there is a certain pleasure to be taken from blowing up chickens or blasting them out of cannons and the audio/visual design is excellent. Will you be able to clear the decks of those feathery fiends?
