Bobls is a super tough little hardcore precision platformer where you bounce on bubbles as you make your way through ten tricky single screen levels.
In Bobls you control a little horned creature which must pop all the bubbles in each level then make its way to the exit. Popping the bubbles causes you to jump in the air and later on you’ll even be able to blow your own bubbles (a little like in Bubble Bobble). Jumping on the bubbles that you blow is quite tricky, but you’ll have to masterit to make it through all the levels.
Bobls impresses with its minimalist retro art style, tight controls and challenging level design. There are only 10 levels but each one pushes you to perform feats of agility that look impossible at first sight. The final section of the very final level may be a bit too tough as the bubble bouncing is particularly tricky, but you constantly surprise yourself with the feats of agility you perform as you play. A challenging bubble bouncing precision platformer well worth jumping on if you fancy a real challenge.
