Brainbug is a surreal little point and click horror adventure where you have a yearning desire to possess something that belongs to another.
You start Brainbug having just killed a man. He had it coming as he was standing in the way of what you desire – a freaky creature called a brainbug that reached out to you last night. The man was in possession of said brainbug and now that he’s out of the way you just need to search his apartment to find it. But he appears to have hidden it away very securely…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, Brainbug is a great little game with cleverly crafted puzzles, a striking visual style and a very intriguing premise. The safe puzzle is particularly well thought out and the cyclical nature of its narrative about obsession and possession is very well told.
