Carcass is an unsettling body metamorphosis horror game where you help an unwilling test subject transform into something better.
Taking place on the decaying remains of Earth that has been reclaimed by insects, in Carcass you assist a large humanoid insect in their latest experiment. This involves selecting healthy body parts from corpses and combining them with insects to make a serum, which you then inject into a human host. The experiment takes place over the course of several days, during which the host transforms and you also learn a little about the lore of the world.
The organ harvesting is a little repetitive, but it’s a great little horror game with an unsettling atmosphere and an interesting lore. A creepy crawly metamorphosis horror game that will get under your skin.
