Carl Hates Christmas is an an addictive and very tough little arcade game that sees you attempting to steal 12 presents from Santa before he delivers them around the world.
It’s unclear exactly why Carl hates Christmas, but the upshot is that you need to hit Santa’s sleigh with your boomerang to dislodge presents from it and then collect them. Santa won’t give those presents up without a fight though – you’ll need to dodge all the bombs, Christmas puddings, moles and mistletoe that are hurled your way, whilst picking up an assortment of power-ups that will aid your cause.
It’s a simple, but addictive little game, with challenging reflex testing arcade gameplay, charming pixel art visuals and a catchy chiptune soundtrack. A fun festive caper well worth checking out this Christmas.
