In Carne Vescens you are a new mother who is really struggling with her new baby. Sure, motherhood is hard, but this baby seems different – it has a taste for human flesh. You’re a little disorientated and not even sure if the baby is yours, but you’d better be a good mother anyway and feed it what it wants…
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, it’s a well crafted little horror game with a deeply unsettling story (which may be an allegory for postpartum depression) and great use of FMV cutscenes. See how you fare as a dutiful mother!
