Chalk Gardens is a charming little adventure where you learn about dealing with life’s setbacks as you go in search of the missing leg from your favorite doll.
In Chalk Gardens you take control of a young child who has sworn to find the missing leg for his favorite doll. You chat to other dolls and search the rooftops of your imaginary world, while trying to get to the bottom of just what happened to the missing leg.
Your imaginary rooftop world is full of quirky characters and beautiful chalk based artwork. As you explore you’ll also collect hats which can be used to interact with different events in the game world. Each time you interact with an event you’re given a choice of three different actions which are influenced by three stuffed animals that reflect different parts of your personality – a brave lion, a patient turtle and a wise owl. Depending on your choices you’ll be able to access different areas of the rooftop game world in your search for that missing leg.
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, Chalk Gardens is a charming little game with a beautiful artstyle, a great sense of childlike adventure and a touching narrative. It’s a delight chatting with stuffed animals and roaming the imaginary rooftop world full of weird and wonderful sights. Highly recommended.
