CircL is a wonderfully macabre blend of tactical voting and backstabbing in which you attempt to influence votes as you play one of twelve people who must vote on which one of them dies next!
In CircL you play one of twelve people who have been abducted by a mysterious organization/entity and must vote on who dies next until there is only one lone survivor. Obviously you want that survivor to be you, so you’ll do anything you can to stay alive!
In each thirty second round of CircL you can perform one action and perform one vote. Voting is performed by simply clicking on the screen directly below the person you want to vote for and you can change your mind right up until the last second. The actions you can perform each round either allow you to attempt to form an alliance or to sway the vote by publicly targeting another player.
If you manage to form an alliance with someone then that person won’t vote for you and will most likely vote for the same people you do. Forming alliances is a worthwhile strategy, but publicly targeting other players may be best left as a last resort as it can backfire and cause everyone to vote for you instead!
The tactical backstabbing gameplay, stylish pixel art visuals and dread inducing sounds of the deadly laser makes CircL a wonderfully dark, strategic and tense experience. Your vote really matters in this deadly game of life and death. Highly recommended.
