Cleaning Redville is a tense and atmospheric first person horror game where you collect trash in your garbage truck in a creepy village in the middle of the woods.
Created for the Brackey’s Game Jam, Cleaning Redville is a creepy first person horror game where you drive around collecting garbage in the middle of the night. Your job is fairly simple – you drive from street to street, load up the back of your truck with garbage bags, use the compactor to squash them and continue your journey. However, there are glimpses of shadowy figures and someone has been leaving you strange cryptic notes – everything may not be what it seems.
It’s a very well crafted little horror adventure that manages to turn a rather mundane job into something very unsettling. There are some cleverly orchestrated scares throughout and even the garbage collection mechanics are oddly enjoyable. A trash collecting horror game that’s definitely not trash!
