Close to You is a beautiful and poignant little low rez horror game about anger and Isolation as you weather out the end of the world in an abandoned diner.
Created for the isolation jam, Close to You is a stylish little horror game set in a diner during the apocalypse. All around you there are meteor storms, monsters and flesh eating birds. The large glass windows of the diner help to keep them all at bay, while also giving you a perfect view of the end of the world. You are safe in your little bubble as long as you stay there but it can also be pretty lonely.
Taking around 10 minutes to play a very stylish and melancholic game and its themes of isolation really strike a chord in these covid related times. A touching little horror game that’s more about sorrow than scares.
