Conscience is a narrative-driven murder mystery horror game where you attempt to discover what happened to a troubled family in their home.
In Conscience you will explore a dimly lit family home and attempt to figure out what happened to the family that lived there. It doesn’t take long to figure out that the father was an abusive drunk, but to find out exactly what happened you’ll need to explore, piece together clues and solve puzzles – all with the eerie feeling that someone’s watching from the darkness.
It’s a well crafted and cerebral horror adventure that focuses on atmosphere and story, rather than cheap jump scares. The way the story unfolds is cleverly done and the audio and environmental design are excellent.
