Corpse Ocean is a creepy first person deep sea diving horror game where you pilot a tiny submersible and search for toxic material from a sunken Navy submarine.
Taking place in the Sargasso Sea in 1989, Corpse Ocean sees you exploring the depths in a small submersible. You’ve been sent to retrieve six barrels of a strange organic compound that was in an experimental Navy sub before it mysteriously went missing. As you explore you’ll scan the barrels to send them to the surface, but there are also several strange VHS tapes to be found and as you progress you start to encounter a series of unexplained phenomenon.
It’s a fascinating experience discovering the mysteries lying within Corpse Ocean. The eerie VHS tapes are probably the highlight (and they also contain the most chilling narrative), but there are also some other unsettling sights and surprises as you venture deeper into the sea. Also, if you’re lucky enough to come across a whale then they’re a sight to behold. Creepy deep sea horror well worth diving into!
