Cradle Is a stylish first person sci-fi adventure in which you explore the now abandoned military research facility built to discover the true nature of a mysterious entity/structure known only as ‘The Cradle’.
The Cradle itself is a large floating upside down pyramid in the center of the complex, it’s reminiscent of the Monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey, in that it’s clearly very powerful and entrancing to behold, making you feel very small in the Universe. Much like the Monolith, The Cradle also raises a lot of questions – Why is it here? Where did it come from? Is it harmful? Is it sentient? Is it good, evil or something else? Some of these answers are found as you explore the facility, but others will remain forever unanswered.
As you explore the facility, you’ll uncover notes that help you piece together what has happened in this place, and peoples thoughts on The Cradle. People are consumed by it, some fear it, some worship it. It’s a living presence of immeasurable power – literally, as the scientists that have been researching it have found out very little about it’s composition and what it’s capable of.
Much like 2001: A Space Odyssey, you’ll walk away from Cradle with more questions than answers, allowing you to draw your own conclusions on this mysterious, captivating, immeasurably powerful presence. Smart and very stylish sci-fi.
