Cuphead: Game & Watch Edition is a simple, but challenging and addictive little Cuphead fan game, built in a charming retro LCD Game & Watch style!
As it’s based on the classic Game & Watch format, the gameplay in Cuphead: Game & Watch Edition is fairly simple, but it’s oddly addictive. You control Cuphead as he jumps and dodges between platforms while trying to avoid the attacks the boss throws at him. There are two attacks – vines that grow up through the platforms and flying seeds that go from right to left. There’s also an online leaderboard but at the moment the top ten already have the max score (9999).
It’s a great little game that does a perfect job of recreating the classic Game & Watch gameplay, complete with authentic audio and some excellent LCD Cuphead artwork. It turns out Cuphead is fun on any platform!
