Dark Hill Museum of Death is a fun and informative first person puzzle adventure that sees you exploring a museum dedicated to executions, funerals and festivals of the dead.
In Dark Hill Museum of Death you wander around a macabre museum full of exhibitions that explore death. These exhibitions range from execution devices such as the Guillotine or the Electric Chair, to festivals for the dead, such as Halloween and the Day of the Dead. Alongside each of these exhibitions is a little plaque that will generally have some genuinely interesting information about the exhibit – such as telling you what the difference is between a casket and a coffin.
The museum is also peppered with brain teasing puzzles that you’ll have to solve to progress and unlock the secret final exhibit. They’re not too tricky, but they’re well designed and they’re all different types of puzzle so it offers a nice bit of variety.
It’s an interesting game, with stylish low poly artwork and gameplay that does well to balance being informative and being entertaining. A clever little exploration of death and the customs that surround it.
