Dead Man’s Journey is a very creepy PT-esque horror with looping corridors, tense atmosphere and plenty of jump scares, in which you play a recently deceased man who has committed a terrible sin.
As in PT, the story plays out via the small (and large) changes that happen each time you go through it’s looping corridors. Through these freaky looping corridors, Dead Man’s Journey takes you on a trip which reminds your character of all his worst sins. They truly are terrible acts that your character has committed, and he certainly deserves to suffer, but will it be for eternity?
The visuals in Dead Man’s Journey are excellent, but it’s the audio design that really stands out. Best played with the volume up or with headphones on, the voice of your tormentor, your heartbeat and terrifying loud noises do wonders to build atmosphere and make you jump out of your seat. It’s a we’ll crafted adventure that horror fans will certainly get kick out of. A very good horror about a very bad man.
