Death Gaze is a stylish little stealth horror game which gives you 20 lives to try and escape from a facility that#s crawling with grotesque alien mutants that can instantly zap you with their laser beam eyes.
In Death Gaze you have 20 human survivors that you attempt to guide from un underground bunker, past patrolling alien mutants to safety. You need to stick to the shadows and avoid line of sight at all costs because it’s instant death if you get spotted. Interestingly, each life you use is a different survivor with a different silhouette and a slightly different amount of acceleration and momentum to their movement, and if they get zapped their remains will permanently lie on the ground as a reminder of your failure.
Death Gaze is a simple, but addictive and surprisingly tense experience. Breaking between cover can be particularly nerve-wracking and getting zapped when you’re caught by an alien can really make you jump. There are only 20 survivors for you to sheperd to freedom. How many will end up being scorched marks on the floor?
