Death of a Lich is a fun turn based roguelike in which you literally have to get the drop on your enemies – dodging, learning attack patterns and jumping down on them from above.
All the enemies that are about to move or attack are animated, while inactive enemies are static and have stunned symbols overhead. Movement is turn based, with enemies moving and firing after you move. Each of these enemies has a specific attack pattern that you have to learn and anticipate, making for a unique blend of turn based tactics and puzzle based gaming.
It’s a tough, but addictive game, and it’s a great feeling instal-killing enemies by dropping down on top of them. You are death from above!
