DECRYPTOR is a stylish little Sci-Fi mystery adventure where you walk to decipher messages and figure out how to operate a mysterious alien contraption.
Created for Ludum Dare 53, in DECRYPTOR you control an odd little robot that has been sent to investigate and activate a mysterious piece of alien technology. There are three different pillars that you need to activate, but each one is activated in a different way. While you try and figure it out, you’ll also receive messages from the people who sent you there, and you decrypt them by walking (which you do by clicking the mouse repeatedly).
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, it’s an interesting concept and the story is cleverly told via the various messages you receive. Figuring out how to activate the pillars is fun and it’s got a very striking visual style. A stylish Sci-Fi adventure well worth stepping out with.
