Dispatch is a lo-fi Lovecraftian horror adventure where a paramedic gets more than he bargains for when called out to check on an elderly patient.
In Dispatch you take on the role of a paramedic who is called out on a late night emergency after an elderly patient triggered their personal emergency alarm. However, when you get there the patient is nowhere to be seen, there’s a huge trail of blood, you catch glimpses of cloaked figures and strange purple visions flash before your eyes. Maybe you’ll be the one who needs an ambulance…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through Dispatch delivers a tense and creepy little horror experience with a great retro visual style and a doom-laden atmosphere. A lot of care has gone into the environmental design and thankfully it’s one of the few horror games that you have a flashlight and don’t need to insert new batteries every two minutes. There are no big jump scares but there are some freaky moments and the ending is particularly effective. An emergency call well worth taking.
