Dolly and the Atom Smasher is a fun high score chasing endless flying arcade game with excellent pixel art animation and a some great little touches in which you help Dolly the sheep fly through the skies of Scotland and gather all her little clones.
!t looks like Dolly’s young clones have been up to no good and have been up to no good again – they’ve all climbed into an Atom Smasher in a museum and overloaded it, creating a Grossman-Manifold Vortex which has propelled them and all the museums valuable artefacts high up into the air. There’s only one sheep brave enough (and blessed with the ability to fly) to gather up those sheep and artefacts – Dolly the sheep!
Dolly and the Atom Smasher is fairly easy to pick up and play, with you simply having to guide Dolly with the arrow keys, collecting sheep and artefacts, while avoiding parts of the atom smasher. There are 10 artefacts to collect in total and collecting one will give dolly a shield that will protect her for one hit. There are also some very cool little power-ups that can take Dolly into space or give her a short trip on a concorde.
The endless-flying gameplay may not be particularly new in Dolly and the Atom Smasher, but the excellent pixel art, addictive arcade action and fun sense of humor more than make up for that. A super little sheep flying adventure that’s really not bad, not baaaaad at all!
