Don’t Let Her In is a very well executed little Game Boy body horror game, where a young kid is abandoned in their home with one instruction: “Don’t Let Her In“
In Don’t Let Her In you are a child whose father left the house four weeks ago leaving you alone with strict instructions to not let “Her” in. Your food is now running out, there are no TV or radio signals and a mysterious woman has started knocking on the windows. How long can you hold out? Will you let her in?
Taking around ten minutes to play though (and featuring two endings), Don’t Let Her In is an excellent bit of short-form storytelling. There are clever little touches that give you hints about the lore and the excellent pixel art and color palette really make the most of the Game Boy’s limitations. Highly recommended.
