Doom Shinobi is an awesome Doom mod where you slice ‘n dice rather than rip ‘n tear!
Doom without guns may sound like sacrilege, but amazingly Doom Shinobi works incredibly well. Your ninja is just as much of a badass as Doomguy, with you able to dash, wall-run, use throwable weapons, block, use special attacks and wield two unique weapons, each with a nice variety of attacks and combos.
It’s mainly just the playable character that’s modded at the moment, so the enemies and maps are all those from Doom (though you can use custom maps such as Trench Foot). Developer Edypagaza does plan on adding a lot more content, including more weapons, fatalities, custom enemies and bosses, ninja fights and a full map pack.
It’s an incredible mod that totally transforms the classic run ‘n gun gameplay of the original. Perfect for a bit of slice ‘n dice fun. Highly recommended.
Note: This isn’t a standalone mod, you will need an official DOOM.wad file and GZDoom to play it.
