dP.T. (dr Pepper Terror) is a sill and scary retro styled mash up of P.T. and Dr. Pepper, which sees you searching in a looping corridor shed for some Dr. Pepper to give to your fizzy drink obsessed grandpappy!
In dP.T. you take on the role of Little Billy, a young kid who has been staying with his grandpappy over the Summer. Grandpappy’s back yard is filled with discarded Dr. Pepper cans, which gives an indication of how much he obsesses over that tasty brown fizzy beverage. In fact he’s hankering for some more Dr. Pepper now, can you go and fetch some from the shed?
Once you enter your grandpappy’s shed the game turns into a P.T.-esque looping corridor horror game, but with lots of Dr. Pepper themed memorabilia scattered around the place. You need to explore and solve rudimentary puzzles, while avoiding a freaky Lil’ Sweet monster that spawns now and again.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through (though there are 2 endings to find), dP.T. delivers a fun and surprisingly scary mash up of looping corridor horror and fizzy drinks. The retro visuals work well and there are some pretty freaky moments throughout. Next up, Pepsident Evil!
