Earthling Priorities is a satirical little old school pixel art point and click adventure in which you play a factory worker who’s so downtrodden by the corporate machine that his own door refuses to open for him to save him from embarrassment.
Drawing inspiration from point and click classics like Space Quest, Earthling Priorities is set in a dystopian future where the fat cats get rich by exploiting the lower classes (so not much different from real life). Your door has cottoned on to this social injustice and is now refusing to open to save you from the humiliation of working for peanuts.
You on the other hand are not so keen to throw off the shackles of the capitalist megacorporation, instead thinking that if you dress the part, turn up on time and work hard then you’ll be appreciated. To do that you’ll need to outsmart your door and sneak into your work unnoticed. It’s a lot of hassle just to get to your workplace but you’re sure all the hard work will be worth it.
Taking around 10 minutes to complete, Earthling Priorities impresses with its stylish pixel artwork, excellent soundtrack, quirky puzzles, fun premise and witty dialogue. A clever little game in which your character eschews sticking it to the man in favor of sticking with the man!
