Echo is a stylish and informative little documentary-style exploration game that sees you attempting to use echolocation to guide three little bats to a new home.
In Echo you start by controlling a bat which can aim its echolocation in directions to help guide its way out of a cave system that’s collapsing. Your echolocation abilities only manage to help you see rock formations, but as you progress you’ll meet up with other bats that will have low and high echolocation abilities that will allow you to ‘see’ other objects such as leaves and dangerous animals.
It only takes a few minutes to complete, but Echo impresses with it’s great minimalist art style, documentary-style narration and cool echolocation abilities. Guiding the bats to safety is fraught with peril, but it’s a wonderful little journey well worth embarking on.
