Entwined is a cleverly crafted puzzle game where you switch between control of two different cute little characters who can only walk on the tiles that correspond to their color and must work together to make their way through each level.
Created for the gm48 game jam, in Entwined you can switch between control of a red and a blue character, each of which has to make it to their matching color of clower to complete each level. They can only step onto tiles that match their own color and when they move off that space then it will flip to the opposite color. You need to figure out their movements so they work together to create paths for each-other and reach their flowers.
Entwined’s dual-character color flipping mechanics are very elegant and the difficulty soon ramps up as new elements such as keys and freeze-blocks are introduced. A great little puzzler with charming visuals and inventive level design that offers some real challenge.
