EQI is a mesmerizing synthwave first person puzzle platforming adventure where you use your ability to rotate the world around you as you seek enlightenment and transcendence.
In EQI you find yourself in a beautiful and bizarre world that you can instantly rotate 90 degrees at the touch of a mouse button. From your point of view the effect this has can be a little different depending on where you are in relation to the axis of rotation and it does a great job of experimenting with this over its 20 varied levels.
It’s a very challenging and wonderfully disorientating game that does some very clever things with its central world rotating machanci. It can sometimes get a little confusing about which way the world will rotate when you press a button, but other than that it’s a very well crafted experience with innovative gameplay and tons of style. Highly recommended.
