Everything You Didn’t Get to Do is a tranquil and poignant little game where a talking seal teaches you to build cairns on a remote northern island.
In Everything You Didn’t Get to Do you awaken in a cave on a remote island in the far North. There’s no vegetation or life whatsoever, other than a talking seal who happily points out the woeful predicament you’re in. The seal does give you some form of purpose though – telling you to use rocks to build cairns which can affect the outside world. As you progress you learn more about the island, the seal and your fate.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, Everything You Didn’t Get to Do really impresses with its tranquil atmosphere, clever storytelling and genuinely entertaining physics-based cairn-building gameplay. It’s a beautiful little experience, and considering the subject matter, it’s an oddly uplifting game with a positive message behind it. Highly recommended.
