Eye Must Jump is a frantic reflex testing hardcore precision platformer played with just two buttons as you attempt to propel yourself upwards through 48 deviously designed levels.
The controls in Eye Must Jump are simple – you can jump left or you can jump right. You don’t need to land at all and can jump as many times you like in the air, which comes in handy when navigating the deadly hazards in the levels. There’s a nice amount of variety to the levels and your deaths (of which there’ll be many) don’t frustrate too much thanks to the instant restart and the fact that you’re sure you’ll do better next time.
It’s a simple premise that’s expertly executed, with tight controls and inventive level design that constantly throws up fun new surprises. It’s a tough game, but not impossible – with a little skill and perseverance you should be able to make it to the end and it feels like a real achievement when you do so. Highly recommended hardcore platforming.
