Face of the Killer is a colorful, crazy and remarkably bloody cartoon horror game where everybody’s favorite zine-loving girl goes to a party and gets hunted by cops, cultists and killers.
The ninth and final game in the excellent “of the Killer” series, Face of the Killer sees things coming to a head for BB as fireworks burst over the city and a party rages on. There’s a LOT going on in the game, but in general terms it sees BB attending a party, meeting lots of odd characters (and some familiar faces) and avoiding being murdered by an assortment of killers.
It may be the last “of the Killer” game but Face of the Killer is really going out on a high. Taking around 45 minutes to play through, each area is packed full of fantastic little details, vibrant visuals and quirky characters. There are some great little gameplay twists throughout, the music is excellent and the writing is as superb as ever. BBs adventures may be over, but she’s really gone out in style. Highly recommended.
