FAITH: Demon Siege is a survival shooter FAITH fan game where you use your cross and holy water to fend of increasingly challenging hordes of demons.
A fan game of Airdorf’s fantastic FAITH games, FAITH: Demon Siege follows the priest John Homas Ward as he attempts to cleanse “Satan’s Grove” – a forest where there have been multiple reports of demonic activity and disappearances. Unlike the FAITH games, FAITH: Demon Siege isn’t an adventure game, it’s a wave-based shooter, pitting your brave little priest against increasingly challenging waves of enemies and powerful bosses.
You can use your cross to “shoot” the demons as they swarm at you, and you also have a limited amount of holy water bombs you can throw at them. Each demon you dispose of earny you cash, which you can use to purchase a variety of different upgrades from a handy shop between waves.
It’s a tough game that does a great job of recreating the creepy MS-DOS styled horror vibe of the FAITH games while transplanting it to a very different type of gameplay. There are some very freaky demons hiding in those woods too – John may have his work cut out for him in this creepy retro horror shooter!
