Fariwalk: The Past is a beautiful, surreal and freaky first person horror adventure with puzzle elements in which you play a young boy who stumbles into an extraordinary place populated by all manner of creepy creatures.
There’s a Pans Labyrinth-esque feel to the surreal world and strange creatures of Fariwalk: The Past. On the whole the creatures aren’t malicious, but they don’t take kindly to your presence and it It very much feels you’re trespassing in their world. There are cryptic puzzles to solve that require a little experimentation and a lot of searching around the fog-filled little area you find yourself in.
The visual design, character design and atmosphere in Fariwalk: The Past is incredible. It’s an unsettling place, but also utterly captivating and full of wonder. It’s like an etherial dreamscape that’s populated by ALL of the creatures that go bump in the night. A surreal, shadowy wonderland that we highly recommend checking out.
