Fears to Fathom: Home Alone is a very intense home invasion horror game where a kid has an unwanted visitor while his parents are out of town.
Home Alone is the first installment of a planned anthology of horror games called Fears to Fathom, which tell short and terrifying stories recounted by the ones who survived. In this installment you follow the story of a young 14 year old boy called Miles whose parents are out of town for a while. Miles is having a little trouble sleeping and has to study for school, but soon passing exams are the least of his worries as an intruder is spotted skulking around his home…
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, Fears to Fathom: Home Alone is an incredibly tense and atmospheric game that has you on edge from start to finish. The audio and visual design is excellent and there are some great little touches and glimpses of the intruder throughout that make for a very unsettling experience. When (or if) you reach the end alive you really will let out a huge sigh of relief then just go and check if your own door is locked properly! Highly recommended.
