Fish Out of Water is a rage-Inducing physics based platformer that draws inspiration from Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, as you attempt to propel a dead fish up an incredibly tough obstacle course where one mistake can send you right back to the start.
The controls in Fish Out of Water are simple – you just click in the direction you want your fish to jump, with the further the pointer is away from the fish then the more powerful the jump it will perform. Your aim it to climb to the top of the obstacle course in front of you to turn off a lever. Getting there is easier said than done though as many jumps need pinpoint precision and mistakes can have dire consequences – often causing you to fall right back to the start again.
It’s a deliberately rage inducing, but surprisingly addictive little game that requires skill, perseverance and a very steady temperament to succeed. Good luck, you’ll need it!
