Flutter is an atmospheric little experimental narrative experience where you try to make a difference in a doomed world.
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, Flutter is a short narrative driven experience set in a beautifully animated, but doomed world. It follows Mike Jadowsky, a man in the early stages of a relationship with a woman who would rather he came back than go to work. But today is an important day – he can’t miss it and he’s running late already…
Flutter is a very linear game with very little player interaction other than walking and a single dialogue choice, but it really impresses with it’s high quality pixel artwork, excellent music score (by Lightbath) and incredibly tense doom-laden atmosphere. The ending may leave you with more questions than answers, but it’s a fascinating experience that does a great job of building the doomed world it’s set in. Highly recommended.
